English Premier League giant, Chelsea returns to action in the UEFA Champions League. Frank Lampard’s side will be preparing to host Real Madrid at Stamford Bridge just a few days after a frustrating and humiliating 2-1 defeat against Brighton in the premier league. The Blues endured three consecutive wins since Lampard took over from Potter as an interim manager. 


They are now concentrating on the Real Madrid match after the weekend confrontation. Following their 2-0 victory over the Stamford Bridge team at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium, Los Blancos are currently the favorites to move on to the next round. Karim Benzema and Marco Asensio's goals were sufficient to defeat Chelsea.


Frank Lampard, the manager of Chelsea, will need to make a few adjustments to the lineup from last week's match against Carlo Ancelotti's team before the encounter. When Ben Chilwell prevented Rodrygo from scoring in the second half of the match, he was given a straight red card. Marc Cucurella is therefore anticipated to take the position of the English man.


After being used as a replacement against Brighton, Mason Mount might be included in the starting lineup. As Chelsea tries to pull off an incredible comeback on Tuesday night, players like Kai Havertz and Kovacic might also make their way back to the starting lineup.
